Vintage beauty

Handmade ATC ACEO card with vintage lady and poetry by Ingeborg van Zuiden
Dear reader,

Tuesday blue day, haha๐Ÿ˜Ž. Here is one of my latest creative splashes: a handmade artist trading card with this beautiful lady from the past. I found this old poetry piece of paper that I thought matched this card perfectly. This is the little poem:

All sweet and holy dreams seem blent
within thy maiden heart
how delicate in every look
in every thought thou art

It reflects the way my personal creative flow goes and feels somewhat. I love it! I hope you like this little piece of eyecandy for today! May it find you well! Have a magnificent day and enjoy!

I see green

Hi there!

Do you see green? I see green! No, not green with envy ๐Ÿ˜‹. I don't know what that is!๐Ÿ˜• I truly don't know what being envious or what envy is. I consider it something of the dark side. I only know of the saying 'green with envy'. What green has to do with being envious......... I don't know! It's certainly not a very 'neutral' feeling when you compare it to the meaning of the color green! I have met lots of envious people on my trail of life. So I do know from bitter experience what envy means, but me, myself and I do not know how it feels to be 'green with envy', thank God! I love the color green nevertheless. I need lots of green around me! It's a magical color! It stands for life, I think.

Anyway......... where was I............ oh yes, I was going to show off some green themed earrings I made. Do you see those big green beads with the little mirros and the bling on it? Those are so cool! They are named 'Kashmiri beads' and are handmade. They are gorgeous, aren't they? I hope you enjoy my little green bling tour for today and feel inspired by this gorgeous color!

My Queen Muse

Handmade ATC ACEO card with Marie-Antoinette muse
Dear reader,

Today I'd like to share this Artist Trading Card/ACEO I made recently. And again....... all the needed materials were on hand on and around my craftdesk! Just like I told you in another blogpost, my creator used my hands to guid me to the right materials and so this pretty muse card was born. I love love love the peacock green gems. They are from the Prima brand. I'm a magpie when it comes to gems, haha. I just love those! It is so much fun to create these little art cards! I've made a ton of them already and you can view them all in my portfolio on Flickr and scroll down on that page and you will find the ATC/ACEO cards in different albums sorted on color. I hope you like my Queen Muse!

Have a wonderful day!

Green floral pin brooch

Handmade brooch pin with gold green floral accents by Ingeborg van Zuiden
Dear reader,

As you may have noticed..... i'm on a roll! ๐Ÿ˜Š Like I said in one of my former blogposts....... I've created so much eyecandy lately that I can hardly keep up with making photos of it and sharing it all with you. But that's good! Good for me at least as it means my creativity flow is where it's supposed to be: on a roll! So...... one of the jewels I created is this green floral pin brooch. It's the first time i've created a pin like this and it was fun to make it. I added all kinds of beads and charms as you can see and played around with dangles, florals and strings. These kind of brooches are typically used for closing a cardigan or as a fashion statement on knit- or crochetwear. Because the pin itself is quite thick it's not suitable for thin materials to stick through. I was in a fashionable mood so I added the Paris Eiffel Tower and a cloisonnรฉ bead to it as well, oh and of course that lovely fairy! I hope you like it!

Sweet Valentine Cherub ATC ACEO card

Dear reader,

I'm a bit late with sharing this little Valentine ATC ACEO card with you, but better late than never huh?! So this is a short post to show off my 'Sweet Valentine Cherub' ATC ACEO card that I made recently. I'm always amazed how my cards come to life. The red flower on this card was a little flower that was on my dinnertable as a leftover from last Christmas that had been falling of a garland. I took it upstairs to my craftroom and put it on my craftdesk. I do that all the time with little things that I find here and there, like a button or a pin from other project leftovers. So, my craftdesk is filled with all kinds of leftover beads, and pieces of paper, images, little threads, a bottle of paint or glitterglue from a former project. And then sometimes i'm too lazy to get up and search for something I may need for the project i'm working on at that moment and there are always these pieces on my desk that were laying there because they seem to have this destination to end on that current project! That's how this little card came to life as well. All was on my desk already, except for the red acrylic hearts and the red acrylic bubbles. Even that dictionary text part at the bottom of my card matched the theme as it says something about 'amour'!!! I was flabbergasted myself by that so called 'coincidence'. All the needed materials came together as meant to be! God always directs my hands somehow, I swear!

I hope you enjoy this sweet little Valentine full of love and wish you a wonderful and 'lovely' ๐Ÿ˜‹ weekend!

A snow white ball

Hi there,

I had a ball with making these earrings while outside there still was snow in my garden. I actually managed to use snow balls as well in these jewelry creations, hehe. Since today the real snow has finally melted away completely. The weather forecasts carefully show some spring temperatures coming to our little country at the North Sea! So...... time to quickly release my snowflakes before the yellows and green will show up. I did see the first snowdrops yesterday, by the way! Lovely little bulb flowers those are! The birds are already quite active too! They are hipping through my golden showers tree and inspecting the little white birdhouse in there all the time to see if that's the home they'll move into. I hope so! So inspiring those first signs of spring are! It truly brings new spirit into everything. Magical I find that, year in year out! I hope you will enjoy this bunch of bead explosure today! I'm off creating even more! I'm having a snow ball for the last time this year, haha. Have a wonderful day!
