Do you see green? I see green! No, not green with envy 😋. I don't know what that is!😕 I truly don't know what being envious or what envy is. I consider it something of the dark side. I only know of the saying 'green with envy'. What green has to do with being envious......... I don't know! It's certainly not a very 'neutral' feeling when you compare it to the meaning of the color green! I have met lots of envious people on my trail of life. So I do know from bitter experience what envy means, but me, myself and I do not know how it feels to be 'green with envy', thank God! I love the color green nevertheless. I need lots of green around me! It's a magical color! It stands for life, I think.
Anyway......... where was I............ oh yes, I was going to show off some green themed earrings I made. Do you see those big green beads with the little mirros and the bling on it? Those are so cool! They are named 'Kashmiri beads' and are handmade. They are gorgeous, aren't they? I hope you enjoy my little green bling tour for today and feel inspired by this gorgeous color!

Today I'd like to share this Artist Trading Card/ACEO I made recently. And again....... all the needed materials were on hand on and around my craftdesk! Just like I told you in another blogpost, my creator used my hands to guid me to the right materials and so this pretty muse card was born. I love love love the peacock green gems. They are from the Prima brand. I'm a magpie when it comes to gems, haha. I just love those! It is so much fun to create these little art cards! I've made a ton of them already and you can view them all in my portfolio on Flickr and scroll down on that page and you will find the ATC/ACEO cards in different albums sorted on color. I hope you like my Queen Muse!
Have a wonderful day!

As you may have noticed..... i'm on a roll! 😊 Like I said in one of my former blogposts....... I've created so much eyecandy lately that I can hardly keep up with making photos of it and sharing it all with you. But that's good! Good for me at least as it means my creativity flow is where it's supposed to be: on a roll! So...... one of the jewels I created is this green floral pin brooch. It's the first time i've created a pin like this and it was fun to make it. I added all kinds of beads and charms as you can see and played around with dangles, florals and strings. These kind of brooches are typically used for closing a cardigan or as a fashion statement on knit- or crochetwear. Because the pin itself is quite thick it's not suitable for thin materials to stick through. I was in a fashionable mood so I added the Paris Eiffel Tower and a cloisonné bead to it as well, oh and of course that lovely fairy! I hope you like it!
