I'm still moving

Dear reader,

Yes yes, i'm still alive (but not kicking), LOL! How are you doing in the meantime? Sorry I couldn't post earlier but didn't have much spectacular to say either. Creating isn't in my diary nowadays, so no eyecandy to show off but if you give me about 2 months more and be patient then i'm sure i'll be back with renewed inspiration! So........... I'm still on the move, moving, whatever name you can give to this horrible heavy moving house process that I now am forced to do for the 4th time in only 5 years..... pffff.......... I so much hope that the house we now choose is THE right one. This time we are on the flee for severe mold problems amongst others and I am therefor forced to say goodbye to my little country home and paradise gardens. It's a very difficult process for me, especially because I have to give up so much space and my spirit needs to get back into the bottle. When you have 4500 square metres of ground around your house you start to use that room and so it's hard to go back to civilized neighbourhoods and such! Can you imagine? My new garden is 30 times smaller than my old one, so............ that is a little bit difficult, as you can imagine LOL. But alas......... i'm grateful that I have found a new home, and get the chance to start over again in a better house and............ i'm back home, where I left 27 years ago! New start new round LOL. We keep on smiling and trying to build up again! I wanted to give a sign of life in between all the busy buzz in my life. We got the key of our new home 2 weeks ago and the big move will be in 3 weeks. Things are moving forward, but it goes slow as I can hardly do anything because of problems with walking and standing on my legs. I still don't have the right medical stockings :( My dear husband has to do all the hard work and I try to do what I can but it's a drop on a glowing plate what I do compared with what he does. And then to realize that i'm only 47 and my DH is 69! Age doesn't say anything, sigh.....

Anyway........... today it is hot here and I took a bit time to take some pictures in my new garden. We already moved a lot of garden decorations, pottery and stuff and so I tried to already make a cozy corner here and there (I couldn't resist doing that LOL; have to make it cozy wherever I move haha). My new garden needs to be fully redone, but there are already Lily of the Valley and tulip flowers growing. I won't 'delete' those for sure, haha! I just love those! That's all I have to share for now. In 3 weeks when the moval truck has arrived i'm sure I can come up with more creative pictures! I already picked gorgeous wallpaper for the living room.

A mix of shabby chic roses in ivory and pink and country checks in creme and beige tones. The lady in the wallpaper store asked if that really really was what I had in mind as the combination of the types of wallpaper was quite unusual, hahaha. I assured her it was my purpose LOL. This is the combination I bought for my living room. I hope you enjoy my garden pictures for now and would love to hear from you! I'll try to post as often as I can. Hold on............. i'm still moving haha!

Country roads take me home

Dear reader,

It will be quiet here the upcoming time. The reason for that is, is that I have to move house quickly due to problems we have in our current house. I hope to be back creating somewhere in the end of this summer! But first I need to find myself a new home! It will be difficult to say goodbye to my little house on the prairie and my paradise gardens :(( I hope you understand and stick with me and hope to 'see' you then again :) For now I wish you all the best, happy spring and summer and see you later this year! Wish me luck! I'm going into yet another rollercoaster! Good news is......... I go to a better home when it comes to quality. Country roads......... take me home........... to the place... where I belong...........

Blessings,

Two girls on a string for attention

Dear reader,

Back into the pinks! Of course! LOL I just can't help it but it's again pink today. It is such an incredible addictive colour! Maybe because of the lack of a lot of sweets in my life, I don't know. I often think about things like that but haven't find the ultimate answer for that. And oh why should I find the answer........... it IS a fact and I will never live without pink. So, while I chose the base colour palette for these two tags those girls picked on me and wanted me to put them into the spotlight. I, of course, bravely followed their commands, hehe. So, here they are, two girls on a string for attention! One wants to play around, one is longing for happy times to come back. It was funny........... I spoiled some glue in the neck of the girl tag that has the light pink flower on it and had to fix the problem I created, so I came up with putting that crocheted flower and pearls in her neck and hiding the glue with Stickles glitter glue. That's often happening to me, by the way............... I make a so called mistake and try to make the best of it, hehe! Anyway, the girls are happy, I hope you are too!

Blessings and have a great Monday!

I turned around the hook

Dear reader,

LOL....... what a name for this blogpost huh? It's always challenging to find a catchy description for something so simple as these crocheted flowers I made recently. I have been making them for some friends and just can't get enough of making those. It's a great thing to twist around the hook sometimes during the day. It relaxes my mind while on the other hand you still have the feeling your are productive, hehe.

I hope you like them as much as I do and find some time to maybe crochet some flowers yourself!!
