Dangling pinks

Hi there,

Like I promised in my last blogpost I will share some pink dangling earrings I made recently.

Making earrings is one of my addictions. I just can't get enough of playing with beads. This is a disease I have had all my life lol. It's unbelievable but the pastel pink iridescent leaves I used on one set are leaf beads I bought when I was 18 years old!! So... they are over 30 years old and were still in my stash waiting to be used. Well finally they've found their destination, haha. Isn't it magical how things all have their own time to shine?!

I hope you feel inspired by this new batch of earrings.

Enjoy today! Tomorrow may never come!

On a note

Dear reader,

Weekend again! 😵Oh oh oh....... isn't it going quick again. I keep saying that lately. I just can't get over the fact that when you get older the faster life seems to pass by. I am wondering about it a lot lately and am fascinated about that feeling of that time seems to go faster and faster. I then figure life is a bit like how a clock goes round. The sooner you approach twelve again, after you started your life at one, the faster you can see the end of the circle coming. It's hard to explain, but I hope you get what reference I try to make. And then on top of that the stupid thing called daylight savings. Next weekend our clock will go back one hour again to make the inner mess complete, haha. I think it's time to just keep it the natural way. No daylight savings....... just go natural again. No manipulative times anymore! I think it's disruptive. But ha, who cares about my opinion!? On a note....... I am here to share some eyecandy, not to rant about time. I do have the time to show the eyecandy, so here it is, my pink vintage style notecard. I like to make art that is functional. This is a card that you can use for adding a note and on the same time make a wallhanging or doorhanger of it. Of course it's pink 😋and did I add way too much glitter and glamour to it. But who cares?! My next blogpost i'll share earrings. Still so much to show off! But that's good isn't it. At least i'm doing something with my time! Have a blessed wonderful calm and loving weekend!

Altered bling Ikea alarm clock

Dear reader,

Just a quick blogpost about a little fun project I did the other day.

I had this cheap 0.99 eurocents alarm clock named 'Väckis' from Ikea and it was dull and not very attractive, but on the other hand cheap and practical. I bought a pack of acrylic stones the other day and immediately came up with the idea to stick them onto this little clock to alter it into an attractive bling bling alarm clock. It was a fun fast thing to make! I used tacky glue (any brand) for adding the stones and finished the clock with crystal glitter glue from Stickles in between the empty spaces. Very simple! Et voila! Isn't it much better like this?!

Collect moments not things

Dear reader,

Another blogpost today..... wow, my pace is good today. By far not a slow snail. Title of this blogpost is 'Collect moments not things', hence the same as on my latest handmade card. Do you mind....... I collect both, haha. But my favorite 'things' to collect is of course memories and moments. I have a lot of great moments in my mind, especially those shared with my beloved husband and my belated pets. Those are the best of the best, but also moments that were special like my first watch, my first performance on stage and also bad and very sad moments unfortunately, like the death of my father, and the betrayal of my family. Somehow I collect bad moments too and I can't get rid of them. 😢 Funny...... they should have some garbage center for bringing bad memories into, don't you think? That would be cool! But on the other hand....... i'm afraid it will be very busy up there then LOL. Anyway...... I thought this was a great saying for using on this card with those lovely vintage children. I guess they are brother and sister?! I have an almost vintage picture of me and my brother as well of which I thought when I saw these sweet children on this card. The picture is not as vintage as on the one I used on my card, but it's at least 45 years old, I think. Isn't it the cutest picture of me and my brother? I think it is. And what about our hair?! Sooooo vintage LOL. My mother always used to play with my hair and I hated it. She loved treating me like a doll (including throwing me into the corner when she didn't like to play anymore. It's true!) I had to go to school all dressed up, always. Brrr....... when I still of think of it. Thank God i'm free now. Keep on smiling, haha. Long story........ anyway....... this is a card that I wanted to show to you then. I hope you like the eyecandy for today! See you soon again!
